Getting there and around

By air
A major European airport in the Rhône-Alpes region just 25 km east of Lyon, Lyon Saint Exupéry is a key transport hub where air routes, high-speed TGV train links and major European motorways all meet.
Open 24 hours a day, there are flights from here to more than a hundred cities, half of which are abroad. With 40 airlines and more than 5 million passengers every year, today Lyon Saint Exupéry is France's first airport after Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly.

A bus service run by SATOBUS connects the airport with Lyon city centre in 20 minutes (30 minutes at the weekend).

Working in connection with Lyon Saint Exupéry is the Lyon Bron Airport, which specializes in business, leisure and public service travel. Ideally situated near the city center and the Eurexpo Exhibition Center, the airport currently handles 70,000 incoming and outgoing flights per year, making it a leader in general travel needs.

By rail
TGV stations:
Lyon Part Dieu, Lyon Perrache and Lyon Saint Exupéry.
With two stations located in the city center (Part Dieu and Perrache) and one station at the airport (Lyon Saint Exupéry), today France's high speed TGV train lines firmly place Lyon area right at the heart of Europe.
Lyon is just 2 hours from central Paris, with trains running every 30 minutes (almost 30 trains a day), 1,30 hours from Marseille, 3 hours from Lille, 5 hours from London by Eurostar, and there are also TGV services to/from Chambéry, Annecy and Brussels.

The TGV station at Lyon Saint Exupéry facilitates air-rail connections, especially with Paris Charles de Gaulle and the cities of Annecy, Chambéry, Grenoble, Lille and Marseille, putting Lyon within easy reach of the main cities in France and Europe.
